ART

Creative expression through the arts is strongly supported at Our Lady of Malibu Catholic School. Students receive instruction in both art history and technique through weekly lessons. We have adopted the Meet the Masters Program as part of our art curriculum.

MUSIC

A full-time music teacher provides instruction in vocal and instrumental music to OLM students. Ms. Beverly Craveiro, an accomplished musician and actor, teaches music in all the grades. In addition, she runs an extra-curricular Concert Band program that meets in the mornings, before school. She works closely with the parish musical director, Mr. Peter Torisello. Their current collaboration includes forming a student choir.

DRAMA

All children interested in stage performance can partake in school drama productions. Last year, Ms. Craveiro produced The Music Man, a school-wide performance featuring students from Kindergarten through Grade Eight. It was a huge success!  This year, Ms. Craveiro is planning to produce the much-loved musical, Annie. Students wishing to participate in the the show must enroll in the after-school Musical Theatre program.
